Our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs live with us on a farm with lots of trees and colorful sunset sky in west Canada 🙂 Caucasian Shepherd dogs adapt well to both city and farm life.Â
First of all, not every dog can enjoy -30 °C Canadian winter. Caucasian Shepherd dogs can thrive outside in Alberta cold winters. They have a shed with hay to keep warm. If we need them to guard live stocks, they can stay outside 24 hours.Â
Caucasian Shepherd dogs are not very active dogs. One walk in the morning and another in the evening is enough when in the city. On farm they can decide if they want to run, chase, search or just rest.
They have a large body and courage which gives them confidence. So they will not get nervous when they meet dogs or people. Their confidence makes them calm in the city and on the farm.
